KEEPER OF MY SOUL

Keeper of my soul

I’m walking towards the end

I’ve lost my sight and my way too is gone

Everything I had feels like dust

All I have left are the tears I cry at night

Lord I need you now, where are you?

My pain pushes me further

I’m unable to bare the hurt

No one sees my brokenness,

But they say you see all

No longer do I see the horizon

Lord please see I’m about to fall

I stand on the edge

One more step and I’m afraid I’m done

It seems like it’s over now

Maybe I just didn’t deserve your grace

Keeper of my soul, are you there?

I don’t understand

How is it that I still stand?

How is it that I can still smile?

They say nothing is impossible for you,

Is this what they mean?

Little did I know I was never alone

They pushed me to the end

But you were waiting on the other side

When I fell off the edge

I landed in your grace,

You let me fall so you would raise me up

My wounds were big but your grace is bigger

You were always there, I see it now

I can’t explain it but I know it’s true

The lord is my keeper, he kept my soul

He is keeper of my soul
