DEAR NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT

Dear Nigerian government,

With a heavy heart I pick up my pen

Is this our reality, or a really bad dream?

The demons you say will protect us,

Hunt us down without a blink

Cold blood murderers but you call them the law?

We’re not asking for too much now, just that you let us live

Is this a democracy or a wicked joke?

Ogas, you can’t act like you’re deaf forever

We are louder than ever

We are not your slaves, we shouldn’t be begging

We are tired and broken but our unity keeps our blood pumping

It’s sad that it took us this long

But dear Nigerian government,

Our mumu don do!

KIISH
