CHOICES

Choices 

I feel guilty when I didn’t do anything

I am broken by so many things

Having an internal conflict with my own emotions

Why can’t I make it all go away?

I pray and pray but these feelings still stay

I hope one day I’ll be ok

Believe me I’m grateful for so much

I try to be happy even when I’m sad

And smile even when I’m not glad

But growth and happiness are choices

Choices I have chosen

Choices I know won’t leave me broken
